Product Traceability
Halal certification adds an additional level of traceability for all the ingredients used in our products. Every ingredient has to be certified as to the origin of the ingredient, its component part or parts, and the fact the ingredient contains no alcohol or animal by product.
The food processing plant is regularly inspected by the halal certification company to ensure that all ingredients have a halal certificate and are traceable within the plant and that all cleaning materials and lubricants are in compliance.
